How To Cook Truffled Yuca Fries

Making yuca truffle fries is easy; let’s find out how you can make these delicious dishes:

Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time:  30-40 minutes
Total Time:  55-65 minutes

  • 1 pound of yuca
  • Sprinkle the yuca with olive oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of high-quality truffle oil

Step#1 Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Step#2 Cut the yuca into ½ inches just like the size of a wedge.

Step#3 Take a large saucepan and over medium-high heat fill the pot with ¾ water.

Step#5 Rinse out the water after the water came to a boil.

Step#6 Pat the yuca dry and lay them out on a baking sheet.

Step#7 Take a small bowl and mix the coconut oil, garlic powder, and sea salt. Make sure to mix them properly so all of the yuccas are coated with the mixture properly.

Step#8 For 30-40 minutes bake the yuccas and flip them when it hits the 20-minute marker.

Step#9  Let it rest for a little while when you take it out from the oven.

Step#10 Put the yuca fries in a bowl and then add parsley and salt then toss them thoroughly.

Step#11 Add the truffle oil and toss again.

Try my other recipe of sweet and sometimes spicy Shishito Peppers. Truffled Yuca Fries can pair well with shishito peppers. The crispy, savory flavor of the yuca fries can provide a nice contrast to the slightly smoky and mildly spicy flavor of the blistered shishito peppers. The two flavors can complement each other well, creating a delicious and unique combination.

Bonus Tips:
