This salmon tropical recipe is so easy to make that once you make it at home you will be making it every day for lunch.

Salmon is the main dish so you can serve it with many sides, I normally serve it with coconut rice or Cuban black beans.
How to Cook Salmon Tropical: Healthy Recipe
Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes
Ingredients
A large mango, diced.
¼ finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons of fresh cilantro
Lime juice; half a lime
½ tablespoon of Serrano chili
½ diced red bell pepper
¼ teaspoon of salt
4-6 ounces of salmon with the skin on
Sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
Oil
Directions
Making of the Salsa:
For the salsa mix the mango, onion, cilantro, lime juice, chili, and bell pepper along with the sea salt. Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly and then set it aside.
Stovetop:
For this recipe, we will be using both the stovetop and oven.
Step#1
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and in the center position place a rack.

Season the salmon with salt and pepper.

Take an oven-safe pan and heat it on high for 2 minutes.

Coat the pan with oil making sure that the bottom of the pan is full of oil.

Let’s begin by cleaning the grill and then spraying the grill with the oil.

Preheat the grill to about 400 degrees.

Season the salmon to taste with salt and pepper.
Step#4
Time to put the salmon on the grill. Be careful when placing the fish on the grill.

Cook the fish for 6 minutes on each side.

When both sides are done you can remove the salmon from the grill.
You are now ready to serve the salmon with a spoon of salsa or chimichurri sauce on top of the fish.

- Buy fish fresh, as in getting them the day you are planning to make the dish.
- Make sure the fish is fresh and does not smell. So when buying if the fish is wrapped make sure to open it and check for the smell.
